Move images (and various other static assets) from your media library to Amazon S3, DigitalOcean Spaces, or Google Cloud Storage to improve overall site performance. Serving images and other assets from these specialized storage providers reduces requests to your web server (as these assets will now be fetched from your external provider of choice). This strategy also speeds up actual download of static assets as these specialized providers tend to serve these materials faster than most web servers can, even when using SSD’s.
Some pages on my site include “affiliate links”. When you follow these and buy something on the other end, I get a small commission. This commission does not raise the price of your purchase. Ever. Not even a little bit.
